Life is simply amazing when i first encountered Ernie Schneeberger he was but only 7 years old he was a bright young lad  eloquent in English ,  and very polite when next we met he was a man at 34 years and still very polite and caring. Unfortunately my friend has gone to his maker . I will forever cherished the wonderful memories we were able to forged

John Dorman in good company to my left is the mayor of Kitzingen
I'm lucky that my military career permitted me to spend ample time in Germany. To this day Germany continues to delight with wonderful memories of yesteryear

I am a world-class traveler having been to more than sixty countries and over 100 cities  globally Germany is still my go to country .First impressions are lasting impressions .The Schneeberger family captured my heart the German people my soul and the Reeperbahn  street nestled in Saint Paulie still has me spell bound.

Germany is simply and alluring city with incredible intelligent people , I have an affinity for German Architect and workmanship   Some of my favorites are The Schwerin castle,Naumburg cathedral,Heidelberg castle,The Bishop Residence in Wurzburg,The Colongne cathedral and king Ludwig castles

I absolutely love Germany ,I miss waking up to the smell of Bratwurst and Wiener schnitzels. I have a weakness for good Schnitzels

I love everything German it.  It's an unbelievable country. If there's ever such a thing as
reincarnation I want to be German in my next life

There are so many beautiful things about Germany but the beer,Wine cuisine and der frauleins  are God's gift

Germany has a very special spirit of some charming magic. Every time I come here, I leave a part of MY heart  feeling sorry to go away again. Let me count the many ways I love Germany

Kitzingen is for lovers

I learned from Hans Schneeberger the essence of fine dining that meant the correct use of knife and forks . dining in Germany is a fine art. One that is slow, well timed and purely relaxing and entertaining. A traditional German dining experience  commence with an appetizer a bottle of wine and sparking water, then entrees, coffee and dessert, great conversation ,Sports or politics  followed by a slice of German chocolate cake

Everywhere you look in Germany there is an architectural marvel, The interior decor of this home will amazed you

Family and tradition are so critical to German happiness. Sunday’s in Germany always put a smile on my face. Sunday was a day for family members to  come together and share their week in games, conversation and dining. It was a day to reflect on the importance family brings to inner peace and happiness. The Schneebergers were no exception Hans would take his little daughter Yolima to the park and to make me feel like family would included me in this ritual and after, we would then go to his mother's home for some good authentic german meals.Thank you Schneebergers  for making me feel like family and at home in a distant country
